    Frames: The half frames were installed with no problems, but when I got to the last three frames I ran out of T-track. I could have replaced them with longer track, but did not want to take the jig apart, so it was clamps and rubber bands that finished the job. Progress photos.

    Frames: This is a few more photos of the frames being added to the keel. The crossbar on the jig has a center scale graduated from the centerline to the port and starboard sides of the model that is useful for keeping the frames centered. It is also used as a clamp when adding frames.

    Bow Frames: This set of photos shows the installation of the hawse timbers and first frame. I had a small problem clamping the hawse timbers to the apron and resorted to using painters’ tape to hold them in place while the glue dried.

    Bow Frames: The bow frames consist of 3 half frames and 4 full frames. This set of photos show the frame construction and a small jig to assist in their placement.

    Hi Bonetta, Wikipedia called the ship a schooner. This drawing of the sail plan shows the second mast higher than the forward mast and a ketch would have a shorter second mast. Thanks for your comment. I had to look up the difference. Mike
