How do I get a .8mm rigging line into a 4mm block with one hole? This is for a Mizzen Topgallant Stay(See Rigging Diagram

It is also a good idea to drag the threads through beeswax, not only keeps all the fibers together but also when the rope is tensioned it will make the rope a bit smaller in diameter. Also a good idea to smooth the hole out with a small drill bit (as you have done). Waxing the ropes also...

Sovereign of the Seas - Sergal 1:78 (with hopefully many added details)

Hi John, I notice that you live on the west coast, hopefully not in a high humidity area. I live in a high humidity area and on a model I made a few years ago there are brown spots appearing, through the paint, where the so called brass nails are inserted. I would suggest coating the hull with...

Donnie's HMS Blandford Cross Section Build: 1/32 Scale [COMPLETED BUILD]

Hi Donnie, I noticed that on your lower deck you used a wider king plank but on your top deck you used a plank the same width as the other upper deck planks. Perhaps by using a wider king plank you would have eliminated the thin wedge plank against the waterway.

Clair, it just goes to show you, I have been wrong all these years, I always thought that the DuoBerry Cluster was south of Uranus and all this time it was the DingleBerry Cluster. You see nobody tells me anything! The alien with the speech impediment said "I'm from Uranus, take me to your Weeder!"
