bridge in Baltimore collapsed after a ship collision against a pillar

The crew size on a container ship is TINY. My experience is just from doing paid research 40 years ago, but most ships whatever flag they flew had Indian officers and mostly Phillipino crew, with maybe 15 or so guys running the whole ship. With this wreck I'd assume there was a harbor pilot on...

    Small reciprocal saw.

Exactly. Open up the case and see what is inside. You'll have to figure out how it snapped together or carefully cut it open. Manufacturers want you to by their part, but we have workarounds.

    Small reciprocal saw.

Once you have the battery out it should have some markings indicating the size, voltage, etc and replacements are relatively easy to get through arcane electronics supply houses. Or eBay or AliExpress. There are a bunch of tutorials and youtube videos on how to do this in general, but probably...

Judea de Bitumen - Is anyone familiar with this wash?

It's known as asphaltum in the US and widely available, like most stuff people think the gubmint has banned. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=asphaltum&crid=3ETWL1PM1WBGW&sprefix=asphaltum%2Caps%2C928&ref=nb_sb_noss_1

    USS Oregon

Navsource.org has lots of pictures and drawings of just about any US Navy ship- many of them have clear to fuzzy images of rigging configurations. And check out previously built models to see what looks plausible. https://www.navsource.org/archives/01/03a.htm

    Curly, antique galleon, sails problem.

Maybe a steamer used for clothing to soften whatever was used to stiffen them up in the first place. Some clothes irons have a steam feature, but it gives just a puff or two of steam The steamers are pretty common in thrift stores/charity shops in the US...

    building the terror

That shouldn't be too difficult- delete the steam engine and ice padding and restore the mortar well. Most of the drawings should still be available from Greenwich. Baltimore is still around, the ship sank!

1930 Bentley Blower by Aifix 1/12 build log

For the engine turned dash, you could make it the same way as the original- Jewelers use polishing rods down to 1mm diameter, chuck one into your drill press and use a milling vise to move the work as you create the pattern. Results could be spectacular...
