Star of India, moored in San Diego at the Maritime museum.

Great photos - many thanks for sharing
We can see, that she is still in a very good shape

She came to San Diego in 1962 to start her restoration. This November 17th she will sail again off San Diego for the first time in 7 years. You can be aboard for only $250.00 per person.

if I had time to travel these days I would be there for sure
I have 4 weeks of vacation every year and I use only one of them to hunt during the gun season. I like to go in the woods and rough it so I take no food with me I only eat what I shoot for the whole week and only pitch a tent if its raining. Its cold that time of year so day 1 is used securing a good wood pile and eating a few squirrels for lunch and supper. other then that week off work I don't take off time even when I'm sick so I don't travel anymore.
