Hi,
I'm Ekis, 52, from France (more exactly a few kilometers from Versailles). I work in advertising.

I read this forum for many months now, and I often find very good information about our hobby.
I decided today to take the plunge and join you as a member.

Excuse me in advance for my English: I read it much better than I write it!
I am a fan of wood kits, especially the sailing navy 18th, but also other things if the kit is original.
You will find the links of models finished or in progress underneath, on my signature.

Thank you for your welcome !

Hello Ekis, welcome in our forum, your english is very good,no worries,do you have ongoing project?

Zoltan

Yes, my current project is the HMS Victory ... But not that of 1765, that of 1737 that sank in 1744. It is not a faithful reproduction, but more than an evocation of this flagship not very well-known.
The base is the kit of the existing Victory 1765 at Artesania Latina, and I transform it within the limits of my skills and means.

Welcome here. Took a look at your pictures. Great work.!

Very good work you are showing us.....would be great if you would start a building log of your Victory.
It would be very interesting to see the changes you made and will make.....good to have you on board

I'll try to find a solution to put here the topic of the Victory of another French forum. It is 23 pages and I would like not to have to rewrite everything, but just translate ... ;)

Hello Ekis, yes just google translate the post and insert the images, don’t do all at one just post by post like in real time that members have time to comment on the build log otherwise will look like just a series of images.

Thanks,Zoltan
