Just seen on 4h model that a new stern part model from the Druid will be released by Chinese manufactorer Unicorn.
Model is 71 x 54 x 76 mm. A beauty. See plenty of pictures on the 4hmodel.com home page.
56_2000_550.jpg55_2000_2000.jpg60_2000_2000.jpg58_2000_2000.jpg looks like a "great" model to me, and they state a price of of 187 yuan which is +/- € 24,- or usd 30,-.

Good find. Realy a small, very small Beauty......if it would be in scale 1:48, but this minimum 1:96, or?
Did you see somewhere which scale in is?

hello Maarten ,Uwe and others, a question if you buy these models in China or Taiwan do not run the risk that when it arrives the customs will not pass because there is no VAT and you then have to pay a fine that is so high that it does not bother to buy them there, because I know from experience that in Belgium customs are very strict on things that come from these countries? Have you already experienced that when buying in these countries?
Greetings

Yes off course you Have to pay the customs and the VAT in your home country, if th custom office is checking your parcel. For my Salamandre I had o pay the VAT of 20% (in Austria) on th e amount of the custom declaration which is filled out by the seller. No custom duties and fees by itself for toys and kits. You are importing something from China......these are the regulations in EU.....

So it is not Only China.....

Hi Uwe,

Fully correct. I had to pay vat for my rc from China.
Positive thing is that in most cases they put a lower amount on the proforma invoice which saves you a lot of tax.

Marrten, Do you have a link to the Company that sells this, IT LOOKS LIKE A Good little build can never find the Companys that produce these kits. Don

I haven't found any, only some agents but these charge an additional charge for their service.

It is realy small scale, but would be a nice project in between ...... maybe.......
