Halifax participated in NAVIGA World Shipmodeling Championship

Total 96.33 points, gold medal and first place in class C8
(together with modeler from Romania)

The model was sent to the competition with 2 sets of plans - chinese and original by Harold Hahn. The hull is the same in both versions. Chinese mfg just used the hull plans which are on the web. The masting and rigging are different. They did not follow Hahn's reconstruction. So I scratched the masting and rigging completely according to the Hahn plans and they were presented as a support and proof. So no issues were arised. NAVIGA guys didn not even believe from the first sight that the model is based on the kit.
