SS New Fawn

Hi All,
Here is my latest small ship found the drawing in a old model boats mag liked the ship and its history traveling around the Orkney Islands.
She is still on the build stand length 8,57 inches the winch on the bow is 5x5 mm
I still have a way to go but its getting there may finish in 3 weeks or so.

Hi Bob,
Thanks for posting picture. I have made a few similar ships and they make attractive models and are a change from larger types. Look forward to seeing completed picture.

Hi Everyone,
Have done some more to New Fawn as you will see from the images. The scale of this ship is 1/175 so its quite small to work on, the blocks are 1x1x1.5 mm with rigging holes of .03 mm just about the limit of eyesight and temper!! next are the railings and seating

Moving along nicely. I just use paint blobs for blocks on small scales, not having the patience to make & thread real ones.

I have to say again, that I admire your workmanship to a scale so small. Just keep up your library of work on your forum and let it grow.
