Framlington Court

British tramp steamer Framlington Court. Eyes usually glaze over with lack of interest when I take models like this to the local ship model society, but collectors love them! - Bob

Why do you say "eyes glaze over"? It's an outstanding model!!!

Because they are not really interested in merchant ships! I usually pass a photograph round the table (there are usuallly about 20 members present at each meeting), but alhtough the model is in front of me, on the table, I am lucky if even a single member comes round at the lunch break to have a closer look. It is the same the world over. Take a look in my section here on SOS "Maritime History Build Logs, 19th & 20th Century," there has been virtually no activity for months and months!
