Kent,

Beads would be to big - probably - as the requirement would be 1mm which is 0.39", hardly any room left to glue three strands I would say. Still, thanks for the input.

Which means the deadeyes should not exceed 1mm (as stated in previous post). Maybe I should just tie the three threads in a knot

I have bought some 2 mm deadeyes and they are really small. The rigging line for 1 mm deadeyes would almost be invisible and you would need a really powerful microscope to see the seizing. :lol: You have to do what ever seems to look OK. The only ones that will ever know the difference is someone as familiar with scale and ships as we are and can tell the difference at a glance between the sizes. Even after all my years of modeling, I still use a ruler. :lol:

since your doing what Bob models.......I would think that his method of doing the blocks would apply. you could just put a dot of glue at the thread intersections and paint them. it might save you some time and head scratching.
