Yes'mam, that will make a great build and I so much am looking forward to you building her.
I wonder, males refer to vessels as her, does that mean females refer to them as him???????? :text-lol:

that's a common thing, Anja. they don't want the parts falling out while being boxed. you'll get used to all that very quickly. you have a nice start going forward. I'll look forward in seeing more progress.

I am quite envious of your sails.......ready to install......wow!!!

Anja, this is a very nice ship to start with the hobby.
I wish you a lot of pleasure building her.

So far you've made nice progress.

looking good so far........a lot depends on the size of the build, as to whether or not to do the tree nails. your more experienced folk will try them, but at this scale....not so much. your decks look great with the varnish....it's good to bring out as much grain as possible :D

Hi Anja,
Hey that's agreat little start you got there. For a 1st time build you are doing very clean modeling on your ship there.
A little advice there. Do not let Sjors pawn off those hairy rigging lines from his pirate ship to you now....

cheers Mario :D

You go girl.........I have not looked in for awhile and what do I see, you building like a pro.
I liked the planking job and you caulked as well :handgestures-thumbupleft: .
I have a feeling this is going to be a wonderfully built vessel.
Keep up the good work.

Hi dear.......
Now you have to do a little sanding and sanding and sanding....
And after that some cleaning :)
I'm glad that you have fun with it.
Keep on going.

you say the rudder doesn't fit....... there is supposed to be a slight diagonal angle to the stern stem anyways. you going to have to cut the keel at a slight angle ...to match the stem. what I'm looking at is the upper portion. that top part of the rudder stem is supposed to stick out where the transom curves inward and then curves back out to meet under the aft deck. a hole is to be drilled through the aft deck to allow the top of the rudder to come through. you could decrease the angle of the stern stem to make the rudder stem fit better.....but use medium grit sandpaper rather than a saw....it does a much neater job :handgestures-thumbup:

good first....first planking, by the way ;-)
