agreed....most model manufacturers don't supply the correct width planking anyway, so folks use what there is because they are unaware. I don't tree nail much either.....I've seen the 'scale drill' to do the 'scale holes'.....and said 'the heck with it' ;)

Here is my current progress. I have added an additional row of bulwark planking and relocated the gun ports up 1 plank. Then I painted the gun ports and inside bulwarks.
