Wow ! I really like the Bowsprit - nice and clean with the chains. Looks very realistic.

Thank you Donnie! They say an artist is never satisfied with his own work, even though his/her critics see nothing wrong. Therefore, the artist is ever trying to better themselves and their work.

Here are pics of the foot ropes for the bowsprit.
I made a somewhat jig out of a piece of foam core board, some balsa wood and T-pins. The pins are pushed all the way through the balsa and the board, then glued on the backside. As you can see, the thread is laid on top of the balsa. Keeps it above the work surface. Makes it much easier to tie the knots than if on the board surface.
