Scottish Maid by Artesania Latina

Postby dvlp47 » Sat Sep 28, 2013 3:58 pm

I am currently building the Scottish Maid by Artesania Latina. The step I am having trouble with is the Stern Deck Reinforcments. They are listed as parts 20 , 21. The issues is that I can not find these parts, they are not listed on the High Tech Cut sheet. Any thoughts?

Hi David,
I moved this post from "just dropping in" to here, "the Build Log from Kits". Hopefully, you will get some hits here and some help.

This is a good move. I was going to suggest reposting here, and then ran out of time rather than answering the original question.

David, deck reinforcements like what you're describing are often in the form of small solid blocks of wood that have to be carved to shape. Is it possible that's why they are not in the die-cut sheets? Or is it possible you're missing a sheet? Do you have the paper in the kit that shows a diagram of all the cut sheets? It might show up there.

You might try posting a photo of the part of the plans that show that parts you are looking for. That might help explain exactly what to looking for.

Thanks so much for your prompt reply. I'll do as you suggested and take a few pics and see where we go from there. :}
