thanks to every one! I have here the last build log.......the Mary Ann is finished! yes, it has been a fun build.....I've really enjoyed myself with this one. I got to do a bit more in the area of fabricating parts for some of the changes I made. Billing's kits are really good and has a lot of promise for those who have an active imagination. I appreciate all the good words....you all are very kind. when I get the gallery pictures together, I'll post as soon as possible :text-thankyouyellow:

Been awhile since I checked............what can I say that has not already been said.
You have a keen eye for detail and you bring the Billing Boats models to life.
The art is in the details.

U R wellllllll cum friend :banana-rock:
By the way, I have come to consider you a source on Billing Boats info.
I have come across a Krab Cutter and I very much would like to give one of these a try, but there appears to be NO FITTINGS.
I have already purchased a Billing Boats SM, and have spent more coming up w/parts to fit her out than I paid for the kit :crying-green:
Now I would go for this one, but @ over $250.00 is it woth purchasing w/o fittings. :angry-cussingblack:
Rick

PS: please pay no attention to the little red fella, I just felt like that when I saw the price w/o the fittings.

thanks everyone! this was a fun build....the ideas were endless!

Papership!

holy cow! your getting to be a Billing's nut too! cool!! don't buy that kit! without the fittings, that kit would be drastically reduced! you saw what the fittings costs for the Santa Maria....the fittings for my Nordkap was over 200 dollars! {I didn't pay that much though}. my suggestion would be to go to the Billing's site to order a kit, if you wanted one.

http://www.billingboatsusa.com/

on the site, you will see a code that will get you 15% off. when you order, you will see a comment box. I don't know if I have any pull......but write in there that "popeye" referred you. I'll hope for you that you will get a response.....hopefully in the way of an added savings. you will see that most of these kits are comparably priced...and that's with the fittings. you'll have a much better time of it, I'm sure! :D :D :D
