Hello Arizonasun,

Very impressive and clean work! And the rigging is perfect! San Felipe is a big challenge, but is a very beautiful ship.

Regards,
Stoyne

Hi Paul. Very nice work and thanks for explaining the techniques you use, a couple of which I shall certainly pick up on. Regards.

Absolutely Outstanding. Obviously not a Panart / Mantua...then my question is what kit manufacture is this - where did you buy it? I wish I had known about this version of the San Felipe. This one looks more professionally built.

Since I am more of a step by step builder, I have had several problems with Panart's San Felipe.
Current Build: Panart San Felipe 1:75
Completed Build: Santisima Trinidad

Beautiful model Paul, and an excellent job. Your method of doing the shrouds and ratlines is by far the best method I've ever seen and I've been building model ships for over 30 years. The next ship I rig I will give that method a try. It sure does produce very impressive results.

Take care,

Bob
