Midwest Muscongus Lobster Smack

Postby teleman » Fri Dec 09, 2011 5:26 pm

Hello everyone,
New member here. Just thought I would add a few photos of my LS. It was a workhorse in its day. But they are mostly day sailers now, which is how I built it to look.

Hi Mario

Lines of this boat is beautiful, making first-rate. It would be nice to sail on it. Tell me, what was an average length of the ship?

I am glad that your wife was in Croatia. Next time you come with her!

Hey Barba,
If I remember right, the average length was between 25-27ft. They were used extensively in the 1900's. They are still in use today, but mainly for day sailing. You know pleasure craft....

Thanks for your kind words.................Mario
