I completed the Norwegian barquentine Barden, this morning at about 1130 bst. 32 feet to 1 inch. 4.7 inches long on the waterline. Masts and spare brass tube, rod & silver steel. Rigging - fine copper wire. Scratchbuilt.

Looks great. Who does the name plate. Is it brass with decals or engraved?
Happy modeling,

Thanks for comments.
The nameplate is neither! I write it myself on the computer. Then I print it onto glossy, self adhesive film. This is then stuck on gold card from a greetings card shop and cut out. I stick it on the wood border using double-sided tape!

That is interesting. It really looks nice and sets off everything well. Great idea and inexpensive to boot.
