Five-masted barque France. Scratchbuilt - 25 feet to 1 inch. Twin-screw, auxiliary five-masted barque, completed in 1911. The engines were later removed, leaving her the biggest pure sailing ship ever to sail the seas. Masts, spars and rigging 100% metal. Hull - wood, plated with writing paper. I get great satisfaction building these models from bits and pieces. For anyone interested, I run a Facebook group "Merchant Ships in Miniature," and the membership is growing fast fast with 150 members!
This forum is for those that would like to upload their completed ships for others to see.
