Geoff,
just glanced at my Miniwax can, and it says imported by Woolworths.

might be a good lead to investigate.

Brian

No joy there. Dead end. Woolworth did own Masters Hardware and Masters is no more here. Bunnings used to sell it.

Did you get a respose from Miniwax Australia.

The other issue to getting it imported is that little red sticker on your can which in full read Flammable Liquid 3

Cheers

I have managed to contact Minwax Australia which I think is run out of the USA.

I have foind out that Miniwax has been renames to Minwax

There Minwax Product Support says:-

Unfortunately, we don't have access to information regarding overseas distributors. However, our International Sales Team may be able to assist you further. I am therefore forwarding your request to them for further, possible assistance. It will be up to them to assist you further.

Well wish me luck, I think I will need it. :angry-banghead:

Miniwax or Minwax wipe on ploy oild based clear satin is not available in Australia unfortunately. The only option is to export from the USA.

At a cost of AUD $16.29 for a pint and here is the killer. With shippimg comes to a total of AUD $82.65

Hi Eddie

Brian and I have been chasing the oil based wipe on poly and gave up after a week or so.

Unfortunately this is the water based one.

Master used to import it into the country and since then it is impossible to get the oil base.

Cheers

After months trying to find Minwax Wipe on Poly, Satin, Oil based we gave up. The Minwax website says coming soon and that has been on the Minwax Website for about the last year or more.

A comparable product is Feast Watson, Wipe on Poly, Satin, Oil base.
This is available at Bunnings
