The attached PDF can be used as a great starting point for those wishing to augment the YQ Bluenose with a full set of sails. Print out the sail diagrams at the recommended scale, check dimensions on the printouts then cut out the sails and hold them up to their relative locations to check for fit. Make any adjustments needed on another cut out then you are ready to trace onto material and make your own sails. I would recommend trying this out on just one of the sails at first to see what kind of shrinkage you will have then you can adjust the selvage on that as well. Note there is a learning curve to deal with on this process.

Please note, if you are going for the option to install sails on your YQ Bluenose, you have to look for additional instructions for the running rigging, since the YQ-instructions/drawings do not completely cover this topic, necessary for a full set of sails. The "Saga" is a great source for this as well as the MS drawing-set. Also the suburban ship modeler has very extensive sketches for his Bluenose build.
